O1652“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Zoe: beautifiul girl, in & out…
Ezra: playing with putty… and later regretting it.
Zion: math…
Axel: not quite sure what his plan is here…
Ottilie: her new hiding spot…

we had a great week around here. so much sunshine, and playing. the warmth of spring captured my heart and gave me a new fresh outlook on things.  sometimes i get the urge for newness and change, (actually quite often) and it was one of those weeks.  i was reminded of some of my childhood and the joys of being a kid again.  homeschooling allows for so much freedom with the kids and looking at learning from such a different angle at times. we always learn well, but sometimes learning in a different way brings so much more clarity to the kids, and to me as well. i am the first to admit, teaching our kids is as much a learning experience for me as for them.  anyway, i’ll have to post on homeschooling more later, but for now… off to another wonderful week with greatness in store.  hope y’all have a good week too.

Love! We are finally waking up to the realization that homeschool is not the same as having “school” in our home. Rather, having home and making school be a part of ALL that we do. It is liberating & more fun. Keep learning & sharing!
