“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013.”

Zoe: enjoying the beignets zion made us for breakfast…
Ezra: picnic at the park…
Zion: our first watermelon this season…
Axel: evening walk…
Ottilie: her favorite bear…

i hope you all had a wonderful memorial day weekend, remembering those who served our country and fighting for our freedom here in america.  i am so thankful. we enjoyed the extra day off on monday, the sunshine, time at the park picnic-ing, watermelon, friends, homemade indian food (that was so yummy!), slumber parties, late nights, and beautiful breezy mornings. this time of year brings much anticipation to these summer months in front of us, and also makes me sit back and realize how fast time is going.  we are nearly halfway through the year, and the time just goes so, so quickly. i believe it is possible to make each day memorable, even in some small way… i am ready to give it a go!

every single photo and every single word and entry is poetry to soul. I love you each so dearly….
& a side note…I’m sad that your youngest is more fashionable than I am in her quazi denim/ombre shirt:/ (if I could hashtag I would say #wanttobecutelikeottileawhenigrowup)
